Scope Of Department : Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics is one of the most commanding as well as demanding specialty of dentistry. We are privileged to train Under graduate students, Post graduate students as well as those admitted for Post graduate certificate courses (Microdentistry and Endodontics) as designed by Dental Council of India, New Delhi; Maharashtra University of Health sciences, Nashik and Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Patient Services :
  • A totally unique concept of educating patients, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics has established “ Patient Counseling Centre ” well equipped fully air conditioned centre with a computer, LCD Projector, Projector Screen, Digital Scanner, Digital Camera and Patient Education software, Waiting room patient education and Customized patient awareness software.So far more than 24384 patients have taken the advantage of counseling.
  • Special Surgery Department, a state of art clinic which caters to the patients from all strata visiting college for dental treatment and also serves the state VIP’s of the society from Politics, Bureaucracy, Judiciary, Mass media and Police services. The V.I.P lounge attached to the operatory has Audio- visuals facility to educate the patients for better compliance in a relax ambience. Department is in a process to establish a contemporary section of Dental Implants to best serve the patients with the newer treatment modalities in all fields of dentistry under one roof.
Activities : Academic Activities
  • Our academic training for first year students includes Dental material lectures (4 per week) and 1 practical class in first year as well as second year as per the new syllabus on all working days. Academic activities for second year includes 2 lectures per week and nearly 16 hours training spread over the entire week for nearly 4 working days in a week. Third year academic activities include 2 lectures per week and 3 hours clinical postings on all working days in a week. Final year academic activities include 4 lectures in a week and 4 hours clinical postings on all working days. In addition to this pre clinical and clinical students are given demonstration, seminars and other extra curricular activities.
